Deposits:  As has been Kimp’s policy for the past few years, in order to reserve a cabin at Kimp’s Kamp a non-refundable deposit of $200 per non-consecutive week is required, payable within 7 days of booking by cash, check, or credit card.  For new guests, a $100 damage deposit is also required for each dog that will be staying in a cabin (maximum of 2).

Check-In: Due to pre-registration opportunities, most guests may go directly to their cabin anytime after 4:00 p.m. on the 1st day of their stay.

Cabin and Boat Rental Payments:  Guest’s bills for their stay with us (cabin and boat rental charges) will be emailed to them on the day before they leave Kimp’s Kamp.  Payment for these charges should be made by 7 PM on the day the emailed bill is received.  The payment can be completed using a check, credit card or cash.   To pay with a check, please deposit it with the cabin# indicated on the check into the slot on the front door of the blue house (the old office).  To pay with a credit card or cash, please contact Mindy Evers.

Check-out:   Guests must vacate their cabin by 9:00 a.m. on departure day to give us time to prepare the cabin for the next guests.  We greatly appreciate your cooperation!!!

Cancellations:  All cabin deposits are non-refundable.  Guests are responsible for the full amount of their cabin rental if they cancel their reservation within 90 days of the beginning of their stay and we are unable to rebook the cabin.  If the deposit holder is unable to come during their week, but wants to hold onto the cabin by letting someone else stay there and pay for it, both sides of this arrangement must be cleared with our reservation master, Mindy Evers.  

Pets: Well-behaved dogs and cats with up to date vaccinations are welcome at Kimp’s Kamp, although dogs are not allowed on furniture or beds.  A charge of $50 per week, per dog, and $75 per week, per cat, will be added to your bill.  An additional cleaning fee will be charged if we find that dogs have been allowed on the furniture or beds or there is other damage (dogs and/or cats).  This fee will be deducted from the deposit held on the cabin for the following year or the dog damage deposit for new guests. If damage occurs, we reserve the right to not allow pets in the future for the deposit holder.  When a deposit is deducted to pay for cleaning and/or damages, the deposit will need to be replenished within one week of notification of the deduction in order to hold the cabin for the following year.  Guests will be required to notify us on their return confirmation email how many dogs and/or cats will be staying in their cabin (maximum of 2).  To ensure the safety and comfort level of all guests, please remember that dogs must be watched and under their owner’s control at all times.  Kimp’s Kamp guests appreciate dog owners who clean up/dispose of their dog’s waste immediately
