  • Coffee Maker/filters

  • Mattress pad, sheets and comforter for each bed (Please bring your own pillows)

  • Deck facing the lake

  • One outside sling chair per bedroom in cabin

About Kimp's Kamp

Kimp’s Kamp is a small, relaxing, family resort located on Yaquina Bay on the north shore of Dead Lake in the heart of Ottertail County’s 1,000 lakes. You’ll find us three miles southwest of Dent, Minnesota on County Highway 35, about 200 miles northwest of the Twin Cities.

Kimp’s Kamp has twelve 2, 3, and 4 bedroom, well-maintained, housekeeping cottages paneled in knotty-pine. Each cabin has a complete kitchen, bathrooms with showers, and all face the lake.

Dead Lake is excellent for fishing, water skiing, canoeing, sailing, and swimming. The shore line of Yaquina Bay is sandy with a gradual drop-off, providing a safe swimming area for children.
