Cabin One
Cabin 1 has been here longer than the resort has existed. Kimp’s Kamp Resort was purchased in 1944. What makes Cabin 1 unique is the framework of a non-working fireplace chimney in the middle of the cabin which is a support for the structure. Cabin 1 is the cabin closest to the fish house and has a great view of the lake, which is about 100 feet away.
There are 3 bedrooms in Cabin 1 with a full size bed in each. It has a full service kitchen, a bathroom with a tub/shower, 2 entry doors , and an open concept.
All cabins except Cabin 6 and Cabin 14 have heat pumps for air conditioning and heat. Cabins 6 and 14 have central air and heat. All cabins have a deck area with chairs, charcoal grill, and a picnic table. Each cabin has a full size refrigerator, stove, coffee maker, microwave, toaster, and basic cooking and dining utensils. We do not supply towels, but we do supply bed sheets, comforters, shower curtains and toilet paper. We ask guests to dispose of their trash in 1 of 2 dumpsters conveniently located on resort grounds.
